OUR VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to promote the cause of
Christ through outreach to the community via the avenues of
music and the arts and to promote, encourage, support, mentor
and fellowship with Christian music artists of every genre,
regardless of church affiliation, ethnicity, race, gender, age,
developmental or social status.

OUR ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
F.C.M.A. leadership as described
herein consists of the Governing Body, which is comprised of
Howard Rogers, President, Vicky Vaughan, Vice President and an
Advisory Board of Directors, including Mentor Leaders and Prayer
Intercessors appointed by the President. All positions of the
Governing Body are under the direction of Holy Spirit, including
the length of service on said Board. All invitations to sit on
the Advisory Board of Directors will be extended by the
President following the prayerful and confirming support of the
existing Governing Body at the time of proposal of said
consideration.
As the organization matures and
expands, additional chapters will be developed. All activities
by the chapters will be subject to the direction of the
organization as stated in the main divisional guidelines. The
establishment of additional chapters will be subject to approval
of the FCMA leadership, in order to maintain the integrity of
the association in spiritual and temporal matters.
OUR RESOURCE BASE
By engaging the support and
assistance of individuals who have demonstrated a measure of
success in their various gifts and talents professionally and
who exemplify spiritual maturity in their daily Christian walk,
we will continue to develop a rich resource base from which to
draw. These individuals are the Mentor Leaders of FCMA and are
an integral part of the foundational support for each endeavor
of the organization.
HOW WE WILL ACCOMPLISH OUR VISION
We will provide opportunities for
artists to express their gifts and talents through a variety of
venues, including but not limited to conventions, concerts,
social/networking events (i.e. picnics, luncheons, networking
parties and other FCMA family gatherings), mentoring sessions
and The Poet’s Corner (a monthly gathering for poets and
songwriters). We will provide monthly spiritual gatherings for
the strengthening of the organization through corporate
fellowship with Jesus Christ, including one or more of the
following: prayer breakfasts, meetings, and worship and
testimony services.
HOW WE WILL ASSIST NEW ARTISTS
We will endeavor to enhance the
performance qualities of emerging artists by offering guidance
through mentoring sessions with seasoned professionals who are
gifted in all areas of performance and stage presence. We will
assign a spiritual mentor to every new artist who has a desire
to mature in his or her calling. We will endeavor to provide
sound spiritual leadership for each fledgling artist, to assist
every individual in their efforts to stay grounded in Christ
even as they pursue their musical gifts and talents.
OUR STANDARDS

We will endeavor to maintain the
spiritual integrity of the organization by meeting together
monthly for prayer, worship and fellowship with our Lord, Jesus
Christ, Who is the head of this FCMA, seeking always to be
sensitive to the direction of Holy Spirit in all matters
relating to the organization and the membership.
FCMA leadership recognizes that the
first duty of this organization is to prepare and equip those
who are called to minister before God and man. It is the desire
of FCMA leadership to see all of the Body of Christ functioning
in the strength of the gifts and talents given to them by Holy
Spirit. As the organization enters the public arena, it is
vital that the music offering placed on the public stage reflect
high standards of performance and ability. Performance
participation in public FCMA sponsored events will be extended
after prayerful consideration and at the discretion of the FCMA
leadership. FCMA events will be determined and governed by the
Board of Directors.
WHO CAN JOIN?
You can! Membership in FCMA is free;
however, membership does not assure stage performance rights in
FCMA sponsored events. Membership does entitle each member to
participate according to his/her individual strengths, which may
or may not include music.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN FCMA SPONSORED
EVENTS?
Every member is welcome to
participate in some form. Stage performance participation in
FCMA sponsored public events will be determined after prayerful
consideration and at the discretion of the leadership. All FCMA
events will be determined and governed by the Board of
Directors.
WHAT CAN INDIVIDUALS EXPECT TO
RECEIVE THROUGH FCMA MEMBERSHIP?
Free membership
Powerful worship experiences
Prayer and Testimony services
Participation at every FCMA event
Mentoring sessions
Networking
Fellowship with the Body of Christ
HOW DOES FCMA AFFORD FREE MEMBERSHIP?
FCMA events will be given on a free
will offering basis to defray expenses. Keeping in mind that
there is no charge for membership, it will be through the
offerings of individuals, families, businesses and associations
that this organization will not only survive but thrive in the
calling for which it has been brought into existence. FCMA is
not a non-profit entity, therefore those individuals who support
its mission will be making a sacrificial offering with the full
realization that the rewards for their support are truly being
stored up in heaven. All funds received will be used
exclusively for the purposes of establishing and perpetuating
the work described herein.
We believe that every Christian
musician has increased opportunities for success in their
endeavors when strengthened by the support of brothers and
sisters of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten
Son.
As we continue to walk alongside
those who have been given the gifts of music, dance and other
expressions of the arts, lifting them up and strengthening them
in their resolve to serve the Lord with excellence in every
venue, it is our prayer that you will catch the vision and come
alongside us as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ through the
Gift of Song.
